Our Mini Silk Corset Set includes three pieces: a corset, mini skirt and scarf. You can wear all three together, leave off the scarf, or pair the corset and skirt separately later. It suits a bride who likes the defined line between corset and skirt, wants the scarf as part of the look, or sees value in keeping the components independent after the wedding.
The Couture Silk Corset Mini Dress has a cotton base, silk covering and lining, and steel boning. Choose it when you prefer the uninterrupted shape of a single dress. The corseted bodice and mini skirt form one design, so you assess the whole silhouette instead of deciding how separate pieces should meet.
Look at the two wedding reception designs side by side and focus on the details you would notice in photographs. For the set, look at the scoop neckline, the point where the corset meets the skirt, and how you would wear the scarf. For the dress, look at the continuous line through the bodice and skirt and its full lace-up back. Which of those details would you want to keep if you requested a change?
