Your second look needs its own packing list. Keep the dress or separates together with everything you’ve tried them on with, and save the fastening and care instructions on your phone. You don’t want to reach the changing room and realise the scarf or reception shoes are still at home.

Add the underwear and hosiery you tested with the outfit, plus the exact shoes you plan to wear.
If your look has a lace-up corset, decide who will help with the change. Room 22 corsets arrive pre-laced and use the bunny-ears method. Save our corset lacing guide on your phone and send it to your helper before the wedding. Practise together so the change does not become your first attempt at lacing it.
Keep jewellery and bags away from the garment until you dress. Our silk and corset care guide advises avoiding rubbing against bags or sharp accessories. It also says not to spot-clean silk directly because this can leave watermarks or streaks. A Room 22 corset is dry-clean only and should not be washed, soaked or wrung, so skip improvised stain treatment at the venue.
Before leaving for the wedding, check the list against the packed pieces:
- garment and every separate or detachable part;
- tested underwear, hosiery and shoes;
- jewellery, bag and hair accessories;
- saved lacing instructions and the name of your helper;
- a separate place for the first outfit after changing.
