How to Care for Your Silk Garments
Corsets Care Guide
Your silk corset is a delicate, handcrafted garment made with love and premium materials — and it deserves just as much care in return.
Composition
Each corset is made from 100% mulberry silk as the outer fabric, 100% cotton lining, and structured with stainless steel boning.
Cleaning Instructions
Please dry clean only.
Do not wash, soak, or wring your corset, as this may damage both the silk and the structure.
Always inform your dry cleaner that the corset is made with silk and cotton coutil fused together and contains steel boning, so they can handle it properly.
Everyday Care Tips
- Be gentle with your corset — silk is a natural fiber and may show signs of wear with rough friction. Avoid rubbing against bags or sharp accessories.
- Refrain from applying lotions, oils, or SPF under your corset. If you do, make sure your skin is completely dry before putting it on.
-
Store your corset flat or carefully laced to preserve its shape between wears.

Recommended Cleaning Method
Dry cleaning is recommended for best results.
Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry.
If you prefer to care for your item at home, you may carefully hand wash it with the following steps:
Hand Washing Instructions
- Wash by hand in cold water (max 30°C) using a mild detergent designed for delicate fabrics.
- Gently plunge the garment up and down in the water to allow dirt to lift through the fabric. Avoid rubbing or wringing.
- Rinse thoroughly with cold water until it runs clear.
- Pat dry with a clean towel to remove excess moisture
- Do not twist or wring.
- Hang to dry naturally in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight.
Ironing
If needed, iron on the reverse side using low heat (max 110°C). Always place a clean cloth between the iron and the silk to avoid direct contact.
Helpful Tips
If a stain appears, avoid spot-cleaning directly, as it may cause watermarks or streaks. Instead, follow the full washing instructions above.
Always store your silk items in a breathable garment bag, away from moisture and direct light, to preserve their softness and color.
Avoid rubbing against bags or sharp accessories.
With a little mindful care, your silk piece will remain timeless, elegant, and ready for every special moment.
