How to lace your corset
You received your corset already laced. We recommend using the bunny ears method for tightening, as it works perfectly whether you're lacing it yourself or with someone's help.
Here’s a short video guide to help you out. If you still have any questions after watching it, don’t hesitate to reach out via team@room22.eu — we’ll be happy to assist you!
Written Instructions
Bunny ears are two big loops of ribbon in the middle of your corset. They help you tighten the corset easily.
Step 1: Lacing Your Corset
- Lace the corset in a criss-cross pattern from top to waist.
- At the waist make two long loops.
- Keep lacing in a criss-cross way from waist to bottom.
- Tie a knot at the very bottom to secure the lacing.
- Put your corset on.
Step 2: Tighten the Corset
- Pull the bottom part of the bunny loops to tighten the top part.
- If you see any loose parts, go back and pull each criss-cross tighter, from top down to waist.
- Pull the top part of the bunny loops to tighten the bottom part.
- Again, if laces look loose, pull each criss-cross tighter from bottom up to waist.
- Keep going back and forth — top, bottom, top, bottom — until the corset feels snug and even.
Step 3: Final Touch
- Pull both bunny ears at the same time to make the waist tighter.
- Once you feel comfortable, tie the bunny ears in a bow.
- Feel free to trim the ribbons once your corset is laced up and fits comfortably. Just make sure not to cut them too short — you might need the extra length later if you decide to loosen the corset or try a different lacing style.
