For a Room 22 made-to-measure reception dress, allow at least one month from start to finish and agree the schedule with us for your wedding. One month is the minimum time to set aside; arrival within that period is not guaranteed. If you can begin earlier, do. Starting earlier leaves more time to settle the design and confirm what is realistic for your date.
There are separate stages to consider. Our made-to-measure designs have a published lead time of 2–5 weeks. After dispatch, we estimate DHL Express transit at up to five business days. Production and estimated transit can together exceed one month. We therefore need to discuss each event deadline individually, including the date by which the dress needs to reach you.
The design also affects the schedule. We adapt our existing designs to your measurements and include minor changes such as length, corset shape and colour. An original custom piece involves discussing your concept, sketching the design, selecting fabrics together and creating it from scratch. We discuss the timing and any added cost for complex work individually.
