Allow at least one month from start to finish for a Room 22 made-to-measure reception dress. If your wedding calendar allows it, begin earlier. The extra time gives you room to settle the design, receive the dress and try the complete look before you need to pack it.
Plan backwards from the wedding
- Start with the wedding date and choose an earlier date when you want the dress in hand.
- Leave a try-on buffer for the dress, underwear, shoes and accessories together.
- Allow for delivery after dispatch. Room 22 estimates DHL Express transit at up to five business days, although customs and local conditions can add time.
- Ask for the current production estimate for your chosen design and changes, then work backwards to the date when everything must be confirmed.

Once your design is agreed, wait for the exact measurement request, follow the guide and check every number before sending it. If you are unsure where to place the tape, ask us before taking the measurement again. Allow time for those questions before the planned production start.
