Corset lacing guide

HOW TO RELACE YOUR CORSET

Your corset comes pre-laced. We recommend using the "bunny ears" method for tightening, as it works perfectly whether you're self-lacing or have someone to help.

WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS

The ribbon criss-crosses from top to waist, where two long loops (bunny ears) form. Below, lacing continues the pattern and finishes with a knot at the bottom.

STEP 1: PREPARE THE CORSET

  1. Untie the “bunny ears” in the middle of the corset.
  2. Loosen the laces from bottom to top by working through each criss-cross.
  3. Repeat until you can comfortably slip into the corset.

The lacing is about 7 m (23 ft) long, secured with a small knot at the ends—do not untie this knot unless necessary. If more room is needed, retie the knot closer to the ends.

STEP 2: TIGHTEN THE CORSET

  1. Pull the bottom of each "bunny ear" to tighten the top, and the top of each ear to tighten the bottom.
  2. Pull both ends to cinch the waist evenly.
  3. If needed, tighten any loose criss-crosses to smooth out the lacing.

STEP 3: FINISH UP

  1. Tie the "bunny ears" in a bow.
  2. Trim excess ribbon if needed, leaving enough length for future adjustments.
  3. Seal ribbon ends carefully with a lighter flame before first use or after fitting.

Steps 2 and 3 are optional.
